About Gigi

There was a time in Gigi Centaro’s life when she wasn’t cheering for dinner. Instead she saw dinner as a major inconvenience. As a self-described workaholic, she neglected her marriage and her husband when she became a small business owner. When her marriage went from marital bliss to no conversation, she knew something was wrong. A wise friend told her that her neglect had created her problems. That very night, Gigi decided to start cooking dinner and eating with her husband.  She learned the power of giving time and attention over dinner when only two weeks later her marriage was restored. She could no longer ignore the power that dinnertime has to create quality family time.

As America’s Dinnertime Cheerleader™, Gigi is on a mission to bring families together over dinner. She wrote Let’s Cook Tonight to take the stress out of planning dinner. Knowing that many people don’t like to cook, don’t have time to cook and don’t know how to cook, she streamlined the entire process of planning, shopping for and cooking a complete meal.

After her cookbook earned two awards, she decided to turn her attention to speaking about how to use dinnertime as a powerful tool to balance life and work. Through compelling presentations and interviews, Gigi is guiding families on ways to come together at dinnertime to strengthen their bonds and nourish their souls for a lifetime.

Gigi’s passion is to teach you how to make dinnertime a family event. She shares her passion through her cookbook, her website and her blog. She gives presentations to organizations, associations, and groups of people interested in sharing healthy, home-cooked meals with family.

This devoted wife, businesswoman, speaker and author resides in Tucson, Arizona, with her husband.
