When I say green cabbage what’s the first thing that comes to your mind? Is it corned beef or coleslaw? If I said sweet potatoes, would you think casserole or Thanksgiving? If those were your answers than you are narrow minded when it comes to food; you tend to see, and eat, food in the same familiar way.

Do you feel cheated and deprived when you deny yourself your favorite foods? I’m embarrassed to admit this, but when I deny myself my favorite foods I get into an “I feel cheated, deprived and it’s not fair” mentality. Why do people prefer the easy way of doing things? If you can find an easy way to do a difficult job then it makes sense to use the easier way. The easy way loses its value, however, if the end product is compromised.
